Xiaomi’s first electric car leaked onto the internet!
Xiaomi has revealed its sedan model named SU7 for the first time. The company has been working to develop its own electric car for two years.
The vehicle is a D-segment sedan with a length of 4,997 mm and a wheelbase of 3 meters. The certificate images were shared in the Chinese press.
Xiaomi SU7 has two versions named Max and Pro. The vehicle will reach 660 horsepower with a dual engine. One of these two models includes BYD’s ‘Blade‘ battery with an LFP cathode, and the other includes a CATL-produced ShenXing battery, also with an LFP cathode.
Xiaomi, which is building a giant facility that will produce 150,000 electric vehicles per year in an area of 720 thousand square meters in Beijing, China, will use the new HyperOS operating system in SU7, which it developed as a smart car.
Xiaomi SU7 will feature 800V electrical architecture, a range of over 700 kilometers with a 101 kWh battery. The vehicle has an autonomous driving system with LiDAR sensors and many other connected vehicle features. It may be officially introduced at the Guangzhou Auto Show, which will start two days later.
