The solid chassis, which will gradually halve the production cost and reduce the factory investment volume, will be used for the first time in the electric Lexus. It will go on sale in 2026. It is stated that this vehicle will come with a new generation battery that will push the limits with 965 kilometers.
Toyota, which will first get rid of 85 different parts by producing the rear chassis in one piece, will then transform the front chassis and combine a total of 175 chassis parts into two giant parts. The company will realize this transformation with systems similar to the 6,000-ton giant aluminum casting machines that Tesla bought from Italian iDRA.
