⚡A Tesla Model S driver in Australia shared that the vehicle battery was replaced at 666,000 km.
🟢The owner of the vehicle previously stated that he renewed the ‘original’ brake discs and pads of the 2018 model electric sedan at 460,000 km. It shows that it is possible to see 600,000 kilometers with a single battery, despite intensive use, even in old-generation Teslas without a heat pump.
🔌 The driver stated that the original battery was working at approximately 80% capacity before the replacement. The driver also goes to the service for battery replacement after receiving an error during DC charging. He adds that after hundreds of thousands of kilometers, the only perceived deficiency of the vehicle due to the battery is the slow DC charging.
Model S has covered 700,000 kilometers today. The vehicle can travel longer than the original battery with a full charge range of around 400 km.
