🟢Wireless charging from Tesla!
⚡Tesla officials confirmed in an interview with Jay Leno that an inductive charging platform has been developed for electric vehicle owners.
🔋Earlier this year, company officials hinted that work had begun to develop a platform for wireless charging of electric vehicles. Tesla’s acquisition of a European company called Wiferion was trying to develop wireless charging technology for electric vehicles.
⚙️Although Wiferion was acquired in July, Tesla sold the company shortly after (keeping the engineers).
🟢Tesla officials have chosen to keep the developments secret so far. The officials confirmed the work on wireless charging technology in the video review of Cybertruck published by Jay Leno. The company’s chief designer, Franz von Holzhausen, said in his statements: “We are working on wireless charging. So, you don’t need to attach anything to the vehicle. “You park in your garage, step onto the pad, and your vehicle charges,” he said.
BREAKING: Tesla directly confirms they are working on a wireless (inductive) charging pad for your garage where you just park over it and it automatically starts charging your vehicle. https://t.co/OK2ZRmAtVx pic.twitter.com/dfPq0H3egr

⚡Although wireless charging development activities for electric vehicles are not new, the verification of the steps taken by Tesla in this direction seems to be a harbinger of greater convenience for users in the future.
