🟢Chinese automobile manufacturers are introducing ‘auto-valet’ solutions one after another. After Huawei, BYD announced that it will offer automatic parking space finding and car calling features in closed parking lots, thanks to this driving mode.
🚗Thanks to the auto-vale feature, the vehicle you left at the entrance of the shopping mall enters the parking lot on its own, searches for parking spaces on different floors, and comes back to you when you give instructions through the application.
🔋We have seen the same driving mode before in Huawei’s Luxeed S7 model. Although it is limited to some cities in China for now, it is expected to spread throughout the country soon.
💰BYD works with leading hardware and software manufacturers on smart driving systems such as NVIDIA, Momenta, and Horizon Robotics. The company has started to make serious progress on the autopilot side, where it has been lagging behind its competitors for the last few years. We will see such features become standard in many of the new-generation BYDs.
