š¢American electric vehicle startup Rivian has introduced its new 4.7-meter model, the R2, which will also be available in the European market.
šThe #R2 comes with a structural battery design utilizing 4695 cylindrical cells manufactured by Samsung SDI, resulting in higher strength and energy density at the pack level. It will achieve a range of over 483 km on a single charge.
šThe electric SUV will be available in single, dual, and triple motor versions, with the top-tier model reaching 0-100 km/h in less than 3 seconds.
šRivian backed by Amazon is set to begin production of the R2 by the end of 2025, with deliveries scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.
