Cadillac’s first fully electric vehicle, the Lyriq crossover, went into production in March. The Debut Edition, a model of the rear-wheel-drive Lyriq only available in silver or black with a limited options list. It will be available for customers first. The Debut Edition, starts at $59,990 and will be available to customers this summer. It is also necessary to have an advance reservation. Cadillac has now released pricing details for the upcoming mainstream Rear-Wheel-Drive(RWD) and All-Wheel-Drive(AWD) Lyriqs.
Initial Models
RWD and AWD Lyriq order books are open since May 19. The single-motor Lyriq RWD, with 340 hp and 325 pound-feet/440 newton-meters of torque and an EPA-estimated range of 312 miles/502 km, will start at $62,990. This model’s deliveries will begin in the fall.
Meanwhile, the all-wheel-drive model gains an electric motor on the front axle for an additional 500 hp and a towing capacity of 3500 pounds. The Lyriq AWD starts at $64,990, with delivery orders beginning at the turn of next year. The official EPA-estimated range was brought to light closer to production’s start. Opulent Blue Metallic and Crystal White Tricoat are two new colors for the Lyriq.
Cadillac Provides Two Different Surprising Options To Its Customers
According to Cadillac, all Lyriq customers will have the opportunity to receive two years of unlimited charging credits at public EVgo stations or credit of up to $1500 for the installation of a home charger. This credit will also provide either a Level 2 AC charger or a 240-volt outlet. Each Lyriq includes a portable cord-set charging cable. It works with either 120-volt or 240-volt outlets.
Cadillac claims that a 19.2-kW Level 2 AC home charger can add up to 52 miles/83 km of range in an hour and a DC fast charger can add up to 76 miles/122 km of range in 10 minutes.
