Idea Of Mobility To Transform Lives And Businesses
EVage aims to combine automotive vehicle design with the creativeness of aeronautical engineering in order to reimagine and transform the mobility industry.
The company has created ground-breaking products such as the reconfigurable separate skateboard for building different vehicle categories, an ultra-light yet tough exoskeleton coated in space-grade composite material, all driven by super-duper batteries with high tech chemistry and commercially produced in a groundbreaking micro-factory setup.
To cope with the growth of electric 4-wheel delivery vehicles, EVage is establishing micro-factories to produce its Model.X delivery vans. The plan is to construct Exoskeleton Structures to which different body types of SUVs, vans, trucks, and other service vehicles.
A team of 50 experts from fields as diverse as aeronautical engineering, auto design, and battery chemistry. Digital manufacturing has been working hard to bring the Model.X to market.
India’s First Exoskeleton Structure
At its R&D center in Mohali, India, EVage company employs more than 80 people. Five different prototypes are on the way right now.
“We have built our first vehicle in the logistics sector — a four-wheel commercial van that has done over 250,000 km of testing,” said Inderveer Singh, Founder & CEO.
The Model.X is made of an organic composite material that really is stronger and lighter than steel, with an emphasis on modularity in manufacturing and design. The product can be completely customized.
EVage has developed its very own integrated powertrain, which includes battery packs a motor controller, and a gearbox.

Raised $28 Million In A Seed Round
“EVage has just raised $28 million in a seed round (one of the largest in India), driven by new US-based VC RedBlue Capital. It will use the funds to complete its production-ready factory outside of Delhi in the last two quarters of 2022. EVage aims to scale up production to meet growing demand. By the end of the year, there are plans to fulfill orders for customers in the FMCG/Logistics/E-commerce sectors.
Nitin Gadkari, India’s Transport Minister, has set an ambitious target of 30 percent private cars, 40 percent buses, 80 percent two- and three-wheelers, and 70 percent commercial vehicles being electric by 2030. Mr. Gadkari also unveiled the EVage vehicle for Amazon’s fleet at the Amazon Smbhav Summit 2021 in April of last year.
This year, EVage plans to introduce Model.X delivery vans with a ton capacity. This is the most popular payload in the small commercial segment.
