1,000 horsepower Porsche Taycan Turbo GT debuted for the first time.
Porsche’s fastest mass-produced vehicle is on par with the Model S Plaid in terms of speed. Taycan, which was recently discovered at the renowned Nürburgring race circuit in Germany, is on pace to break the current track record.
The super-fast Taycan Turbo GT is estimated to reach 1,000 horsepower. The vehicle comes with significant improvements that will increase aerodynamic efficiency at both the front and rear. Taycan has not changed much since it went on sale in 2020. It was expected to be facelifted in the 2024 model year.
Taycan GT is coming to beat Model S Plaid’s Nürburgring score of 7:35 (Let’s note that the old Taycan surpassed Plaid with a special performance package sold only in Germany) with its front bumper with a wider ventilation gap, lower and more aerodynamic nose and giant spoiler.
Porsche, which was delayed in updating Taycan, has experienced a serious decrease in sales recently. With the new thousand-horsepower GT model, the performance touches necessary for Taycan to rise again will be implemented.
