British sports car brand Lotus, which went through a radical transformation after being purchased by Chinese Geely, is here with a sedan for the first time in years. Described as a four-door GT, Lotus EMEYA attracts attention with its design as well as its hardware features.
The electric sedan, which has a smart air suspension system that can sense the road 1,000 times per second, can reach a speed of 256 km/h with its dual engine. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.78 seconds
EMEYA, which can produce 215 kilograms of downforce with its 296 mm wide rear spoiler, is designed to be the most comfortable and fastest GT in its class. The rear of the sports car, whose front face is largely reminiscent of the electric hyper SUV Eletre, was designed from scratch for the GT vehicle form.
EMEYA will have 4 and 5-seat options. The company will start production in 2024. This car, which will provide high charging speed and performance with its 800V architecture, is expected to find buyers in Europe and China. Price information has not been announced yet.
