BMW invests 600 million pounds in electric Mini production! The huge investment will keep Mini’s two facilities in the UK employing 4 thousand people.
The electric Mini Cooper, whose first version was also sold in Turkey and whose new version is produced only in China, will start to be produced in England again in 2026 after this investment. The electric SUV Aceman will also be produced in this facility and exported to Europe and in Turkey.
BMW, which will continue to produce the Mini in its homeland with the incentives it receives from the British government, will import the electric Minis it developed with its Chinese business partner Great Wall Motor from China until 2026.
